How do I add items to my shopping basket?
Once you have found the item you want simply click on the image or ‘View’ button, once you are happy that this is the right product, then click on the ‘Add to Basket’ button.
Don’t worry if you have added too many items or the wrong item to your basket. To remove items from your shopping basket simply click on ‘Basket’ on the left-h& navigator, then either type the number ‘0’ in the quantity box & click on the ‘Recalculate’ button underneath. Or you can click in the ‘Remove’ box & then click on the ‘Recalculate’ button underneath.

Can I save items in my basket to buy another day?
Yes.  So long as you don’t clear your computers short term memory or ‘cache’ the items shall remain in place for a short period of time.  If they have gone, don’t worry, simply replace them into the cart next time you visit.

We have a charity event/organisation that would really appreciate a tree and some decorations.  Can you help?
We fully appreciate that Christmas is a very special time of year and we want to help as much as we can.  As a Christmas Winter Wonderland, we think we can do this best in one of two ways:
- We would like to offer a number of free Christmas trees and invite charities and organisations to contact us People should contact Mark Jerram via e-mail on
info@christmaswrappedup.co.uk  for a form, or request one via fax on 01245 231 827. We will advise whether you have been successful by December 1st.
- We will also support events by taking Christmas Wrapped Up advertisements in charity publications.  Requests should be e-mailed to Mark Jerram via e-mail at
info@christmaswrappedup.co.uk or request a form via fax on 01245 231 827. We will advise whether you have been successful.

When is the ideal time to put my Christmas Tree up?
That depends on the temperature of the room where your tree will stand.  Radiators, televisions etc. dry the air in the room creating a hostile environment for the tree.  Remember, a fresh ‘cut’ tree is ‘alive’ and should be treated in the same way that you would treat a bunch of flowers.  Here’s a rough guide that we hope will help:

Cool Room: purchase early December.  Warm room: around the 15th December.  Hot room: wait until nearer the 22nd December.

How do I know if the Christmas tree is fresh?
Buying from a tree farm will ensure it’s as fresh as possible!  The tree weight is also a good indication; if you lift it and it feels ‘light’, the chances are it’s not that fresh.  Needles are also a good indicator of the freshness and quality of the tree.  Sparseness is not good!

My Christmas Tree is dropping already.  What can I do?
Well, I guess you didn’t buy your tree from Christmas Wrapped Up! We won’t start cutting our tress until November 20th ready for sale to avoid this very problem.
Do keep your tree well watered – it will need up to 2 pints per day in a warm room.  Use one of our specially designed stands to help keep the Tree hydrated and securely in an upright position.
Unfortunately, once a tree starts to lose it’s needles however, there isn’t much you can do.
If you really want your tree up early you might consider buying a good artificial one (we have an excellent selection), or try a pot-grown Christmas Tree.  Properly looked after, you can enjoy your tree all year round.

How do we dispose of our tree at the end of the holiday?
Bring it back to us and we will be happy to recycle it for you.

Our tree lights aren't working.  Some of the bulbs have gone.

Tree lights are notoriously annoying! The norm is that you put them on the tree and they then pack up! The main reason for this is that, once used, the bulb filaments become very fragile.  Unless you are particularly careful when getting them out of storage, the filament will break.  Low voltage sets are more reliable as the bulb burns at a far lower temperature. Personally I would recommend a purpose designed ‘Light Reel’ (which we stock), or, if you prefer, a used 1 litre drinks bottle.  Always replace a fuse bulb with a fuse bulb and we stock Noma tree lights.  They have a bulb code on their box for a quick reference.  Keep this stuck on your light reel.
